Brand New: Blood Pie. It’s a yellow cassette of 16 demos, preparations, unreleased songs, durge remixes and strange things - non of which are available anywhere else. 16 songs, 40 mins. We recorded these songs ourselves in a kitchen at low volume as not to upset the neighbours. In the studio we make things loud and aggressive, but listening back we realised that there’s something very nice about the restraint in these recordings. There’s also some songs that weren’t right for the album, but couldn’t abandon. Altogether it’s a good introduction of how this record came to be. It comes with an MP3 download for two 20 minute mp3s: Side A / Side B.
