SXSW 2008
Feb '08 :: Ardent bird enthusiasts will know that the best place to see the Common Grackle (quiscalus quiscula) is the American southwest in spring, so in March we'll be travelling to Austin, Texas. Whilst we’re there we also hope to play some gigs at the SXSW festival. We will then be going to Los Angeles, hoping to spot the Northern Mockingbird (mimus polyglottos). We’ll play some gigs there too.
PROPER FORUM
Dec '07 :: As 2007 draws to a close, in our usual hot up to date technophile style we've now got ourselves a Proper Forum where you can do all the usual forumy stuff. It's here so come and join now. Or whenever you've finished your tax return/eating your tea/whatever you were doing.
UK TOUR
Dec '07 :: We've now finished our mammoth tour supporting the rather excellent Glasgow band Sons and Daughters on their UK tour. So we're feeling a little sad that it's the end of gigs for this year, but we're also aching to record new stuff. The tour was obscene. You can read about it on S&D NME blog, but please bear in mind that's all lies. We couldn't repeat the tales of wanton recklessness and depravity because to read it your eyes might fall out.
Thanks to everyone who came down to see us and to all the new people we met after the gigs. It's why we do it. We're going to miss seeing you guys every night on tour, so if a few of you want to come over to our practice rooms in Cardiff and clap us every time we finish a song that'd be ace.

CONTINENTAL TOUR
Oct '07 :: We just got back from playing gigs in Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Belgium. It was rather good, and it was an honour to play with such excellent bands as Deerhoof and the Dirty Projectors.. .
FUTURE OF THE LEFT TOUR
In September we supported fellow Cardiffians Future of the Left in the UK. It was good.
